Departmental Library of Law and Economics

A branch of University Library System, the Departmental Library of Law and Economics primarily provides professors and staff as well as students of the Departments of Law and Economics with printed and electronic academic literature. The Departmental Library contains more than 175,000 legal books, with a further 155,000 volumes found in the libraries of the seven law institutes and at other locations within the Law School. Except for a few titles in the textbook collection, books cannot be removed from the library on loan. Thanks to the exceptionally long opening hours of the Departmental Library compared to the national average, the accessibility of the holdings and the usability of the electronic offers is ensured for the students. The Departmental Library has over 300 workstations.
